Inspiration: Between the seasons changing at the start of the Victorian High Country, I often see these little bright red birds flying through the blossoms and around the property. It’s a delight to spot them! Flame Robins are often mixed up with the Scarlet Robin, though the former has more of a slate grey on its back and a smaller tuff of white above its beak. With the diversity of bird life around here it truly is a beautiful place to call home.

Print #1 through #12 have an extra special addition to them. I have painted the chest of the Robin with Acrylic to really brighten up the colour in his feathers. these special prints are $100 each and the following 88 will not have this enhancement and will be $90.

This series has specifically utilised watercolour and soot in the finished artwork.
